Current events

I have some exciting news about lil Phil! We were at his tennis lesson on Monday and I spoke with his trainer regarding signing up for the beginner II classes. He told me that Phil has already surpassed his classmates and would be better served (no pun intended) in a level above beginner II which is called the "Drill Squad"! How awesome is that!? He looks like a natural on the court and LOVES to play! I'm so excited that he's found something he's interested in!

As for Jeff, the season is winding down. Feels like we've been playing lacrosse FOREVER! He has a game this weekend and may play in the U-9 game next Thursday, but otherwise we only have the tournament left the weekend of the 17th. Here's the link for anyone who's interested: http://bagatawaylax.com/tournaments.html. I've offered to help coordinate all the Stars teams (that's who we play for) regarding a "base camp", food, tents, etc. but so far have heard nothing...oh well!

Over the past week we've been interviewing new babysitters. The two so far seem great but both have an "uh oh" factor...the first, at the end of the interview, told us she was 4 1/2 months pregnant and the second goes back to college the first week in August! I'm supposed to interview another one on Friday who lives where our marina is so hopefully there will be no surprises there. We're definitely leaning toward the 1st b/c she was just so organized, pleasant, and had a great background. She took notes during the whole meeting! We're going to test her this weekend. Phil made reservations at this new restaurant, FireWater, here in Cumming. It looks fantastic: http://www.firewaterchophouse.com/ so she's coming over on Saturday around 6pm to watch the boys. We also have her booked for June 5th! HELL YEA! BUFFETT HERE WE COME! WOOHOO

As for the rest of the weekend, there's a lacrosse game at 10:15am on Saturday. I've suggested that the Phils go see IronMan (Jeff doesn't want to go). Sunday will probably be gardening...we're on the back yard bed now! We'll be finished in NO TIME! Oh, that reminds me, I never took pictures of the side..I'll add those tomorrow :-)

Think that's about it!

Oh, if you could please keep our moms in your prayers in the coming weeks it would be most appreciated. Phil's mom is having knee replacement surgery on Friday and mom should know more about her situation on Friday. Love you both!
