Happy Thanksgiving

Well all, you'll never believe this but as I was accepting a comment from "anonymous" - AKA Dad - I noticed an entry from Thanksgiving that wasn't complete. Sorry this is so delayed:

We are all set for our Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow. Amy and Ken are coming into town today. They should actually be here in an hour or so and will be staying until Saturday morning. We will be having ham, mashed potatoes, green bean almandine, rolls, and of course lil Phil's favorite - candied yams (I know, too much starch). That's ok, he'll run it off at lax practice on Sunday!

So that was what I had written before my doorbell rang...here's the rest:

I was able to log off of work when Amy and Ken arrived. It was nice to be able to visit with them and relax a bit. That night we had fajitas (YUMMY) and the next morning we had a breakfast fit for a king! I watched the Thanksgiving parades (yea, I'm one of those who actually like them) and then started the lunch/dinner. Can you believe it mom, I actually messed up the potatoes - They were runny! I think that's the first time ever! Anyway....Phil and Ken watched the game and we all just vegged and let the ham digest.

The next day Amy, the boys, and I ran some errands while Phil and Ken went to the shooting range. Phil was like a kid in a candy store! He was so excited!

I'm happy to report that although Ken took a very strong liking to Ms. Sarah while he was here (and threatened to take her home w/him), she is still here and growing like a weed.

I'm sorry that this wasn't posted sooner...totally forgot it wasn't published. Enjoy!
