Phil's bday recap

So, as mentioned in my last entry, I had a surprise last night for Phil. Tara, our babysitter, arrived around 6:15 and the car service, yes, a Lincoln Towncar, arrived around 6:25pm. We rode to Cabernet, a very nice (and expensive) restaurant a couple exits up on 400 (that's a highway here for those who have not come to visit). We had filet minon topped with crab meat, oysters on the half shell, and a delicious creme brule for desert which paired well with my apple martinis :-)...After dinner we stayed in the bar area for a bit listening to a fantastic local artist sing songs from the 60's. Carl, our driver, took us home and that's all folks! It was a great night and I think Phil had a good time too! :-)

Heather did an amazing job with it all. I am truly blessed to have such an unbelievably thoughtful and caring wife. Thank you so much dear! It was a fabulous time!! :)

Happy Birthday Daddy Phil!

Happy birthday to you! Well he couldn't wait for his presents ON his birthday so we gave them to him last night. He got an IPod Shuffle which he loves and a Westbrook jersey to replace the TO jersey he had to burn. Tonight I've hired a babysitter and have some special things planned...they're a surprise so I'll write about them the next time! CHAO!

Phil's birthday party

Phil's birthday party was a success yesterday, both for the adults and children. There were only 5 boys (PHEW) and they all seemed to have a good time (PHEW again). Here are a few pics of the day:

Happy Birthday Phil!

Although we're not celebrating lil Phil's birthday until NEXT Saturday, I wanted to wish him a special day tomorrow for his big 11th bday! I can't believe he's so big (both age and size wise). Can't say that it seems like yesterday that he was born but it definitely doesn't seem like 11 years ago! PHEW, time does fly. For the day we plan to take the boys on a hay ride and to the pumpkin patch. Daddy mentioned something about Toys R Us in there too but I'm not telling the boys or that's the ONLY thing they'll remember! Then it's back to the outlets to buy furniture for the house! Now THAT's the exciting part for me!
